Frequently Asked Questions * Events

Does Brambles host Business Meetings?
Yes, Brambles offers Business Meetings starting at 10am, with one-hour allotted for private presentations. We serve a pre-fixe, pre-planned menu at the start of your presentation or directly following it. While there is no rush to leave, please note that Brambles opens to the public for regular service starting at 11am.

Does Brambles close to the public for Group Parties?
Brambles generally does not close to the public unless your party is more than 40 guests (see Private Events). Large groups are seated on one side of the Tea Room, while smaller reservations are seated on the other side. Parties of 16 or less may be seated at one long table together. Parties of 16 or more may be placed together in two long tables, or in cluster of tables seating 3 to 4 people.

May Groups Order & Pay Separately?
Groups with 12 guests or less may order and pay separately. Groups with 12 guests or more will be asked for one-person to be the representative of the group, along with a credit card and a $50 deposit to hold the reservation. Brambles will work with the group representative on the menu and how payment will be handled.

Does Brambles host Showers?
Yes, Brambles hosts Bridal Showers and Baby Showers. Please note, unless you are planning a Private Event, Brambles is a shared dining experience, so we kindly ask guests to refrain from opening gifts or playing games in the Tea Room during the regular service hours of 11am–2:30pm, while other guests are dining.

May I bring in Floral Arrangements?
Brambles has fresh-cut flowers on every table, however, you are welcome to bring your own small arrangements.

May I bring in Decorations?
Brambles allows up to 2 standard-size balloons per party. No large signs, oversized decorations or displays, glitter, feathers, hot glue guns, or crafts in the Tea Room, and absolutely no taping of any items to the wallpaper.

Do you have a Gift Table?
Brambles will supply a small table for gifts upon request.

May we Open Gifts?
Unless you are planning a Private Event, Brambles is a shared dining experience, so we kindly ask parties and showers to refrain from opening gifts in the Tea Room during the regular service hours of 11am–2:30pm, while other guests are dining.

May I bring in a Cake or Cupcakes?
Yes, Brambles allows cakes and cupcakes from a professional baker to be delivered for your event. $2/person includes cake cutting, plating on our fine China, service and presentation in the Tea Room.

May I bring in Alcohol?
No. Brambles does not allow any alcohol on-premise. Brambles offers champagne, sparkling wine, white wine, red wine, and beer for guests who are 21-years plus with proper identification.

When will Service begin?
Service will commence15-minutes after the start time of your event.

Will I be charged if some guests do not show up?
You are required to provide a final guest count 72-hours in advance. You will be charged for this final guest count – not on how many guests actually attend.

What if I have to cancel a Large Party or Private Event?
A minimum of one week’s notice is required in order to receive your deposit back.
